Britain has allowed filming in the Foreign Secretary’s office
Scenario
In the midst of an international crisis, career diplomat Kate Wyler is given a prestigious job she is unprepared for, with tectonic consequences for her marriage and political future. The producers convinced the US and British governments to allow them to use real locations as filming locations for the series, including the newly opened US Embassy (at Nine Elms) in 2018. This is an honor rarely bestowed on any film or screen production, especially an American one.

The only location that was off-limits was Winfield House, the real-life residence of the US ambassador. Although the producers filmed on location in London’s largest residential area (11 acres) outside Buckingham Palace, the producers used a country house outside the city for filming. I watched The Night Agent and thought it couldn’t get any better, but I was wrong.
So intelligent and fascinating
I loved every second of this show. Everything you could want in a series. The characters and acting were first class.
He played it perfectly
It was great to see the delightful Rufus Sewell again and his role because you never knew what he would do next. Keri Russell was simply wonderful as the ambassador. I also loved David Gyasi.
The best political series since The West Wing
Overall a great series, maybe a little short, but definitely worth watching. Perfect!
