James Gunn designed the ‘CREATURE COMMANDOS’ before he took over DC
Scenario
It follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, a Frankenstein’s monster, and a gorgon. Gunn then greenlit the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios.

This series has fantastic characters and is extremely creative
I’ve always loved the DC universe, and while I think the DCEU has been overly hated, I’ve been very disappointed with a few of the DCEU projects. I think when James Gunn says that superhero movies and TV have become too generic, he’s on to something.
But yeah, it was a great start and I can see it only getting better from here
There have been so many superhero movies in the last decade that when people see a new one coming out, they don’t go to the theaters because they think “another superhero movie, there have been too many”; Since they’re all the same, just generic action movies (mainly sequels) I think James Gunn is really going to change things up and I can’t wait for him. I also think that since Marvel has been so much more popular, DC has a lot of great characters that have been overlooked (by fans), and I think if everything DC is going to come out in the next few years, then the lesser known characters will do well at the box office as long as they can grab people’s attention and make them feel really special.
